Fundamentals of Weaving – Teen to adult
Make a sampler on a table loom or floor loom. Learn how to make a warp, dress the loom, read a draft, weave various basic structures and finish a sampler . 8 weeks. Please allow extra time – outside of class – to do your weaving.
Tuition $120 plus $20 materials
Tuesdays June 9 – July 28 A session – afternoons 1-4
B session evenings 5:15 to 8pm

Beginning Card or Tablet Weaving Ages 10 – adult
Portable weaving with cards to make belts, bands, guitar straps, trim, and especially for those who want to make a beautiful flute bag for your flute. A fun travel or camping project. Tuition $65 3 meetings
Mondays June 8, 15, 22 A session afternoons 1- 4
B session evenings 5:15 – 8pm

Weaving Rag Rugs (recycle your rags or plastic bags)
Simple, fun, quick, creative, and thrifty. Adult beginning or experienced

ESPECIALLY FOR KIDS Weaving on a PVC Pipe Loom AGES 10 +
Inexpensive, portable, easy to make a pouch, scarf, or mat.
Wednesdays June 24 – July 22 5 sessions 2-4pm
Tuition $75 ($25 extra IF you purchase the loom) Bring your own yarns or purchase from PCH.

Come enjoy our comfortable air conditioned weaving studio. Show n Tell, extra time to finish projects, Intermediate weavers can schedule a floor loom, weave and socialize. Non-students -$5 per evening or $15 month.

EQUIPMENT RENTAL
Do you know how to weave and have a large project in mind but your loom is too small? Rent the 48″, 8- shaft, double back beam Macomber Loom. $ 5.00 hr
Four 15″, 2- shaft table looms for children age 10 + $30.00 month for your group.

INDIAN FLUTES

Native American 2-chambered flutes, just like they played at the 2002 Olympics. Feature exotic woods such as Alaskan yellow cedar, imbuia, purple heart, maples, walnut, cherry. Adorn as you desire, with inlay, burning, carving, etc. If you’ve already made a flute, you’ll learn a different bore size or style. Under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Pre-register — limit four students per class.
Class held in the Wood Shop
Six-week classes:
June 3-July 8 6-8 pm
Individual instruction can be arranged with teacher.
Tuition: $150 due on first day or before class plus Materials: $25

CREATIVE B&W PHOTOGRAPHY

Capture your creative style threw the artistry of Black & White photography! Small classes to focus on your style & individual pursuits. You will become one with your camera, advancing your artistry, building your portfolio, while building your foundation stronger to push your development further then ever before! Working in the darkroom, exploring film choices, & more!
Have your 35mm &/or medium format cameras ready to work! Also have your light meter, tripod, & a copy of your camera(s) manual(s) (manuals necessary if you are not FULLY aware of ALL functions & how to use them).
Assignments will be based on individual pursuits.
Tuition & lab fee is due on the 1st day of class or earlier.
